Sacred Heart College is the process of developing a music program, beginning with its freshmen/first year class. The school has invested in various instruments, and currently has a volunteer music teacher who is teaching the recorder, voice and other instruments, including the piano. AND, YES, Ray --- the school will also invest in a marimb, and will be seeking someone to come in to teach it ... They also bought some Garifuna drums.

playing some FANTASTIC marimba music from Guatemala.
along with it was the comment that the marimba is
dying out in Guatemala because the young people want
rap.
